This Newbery award winning book is a wonderful look at a youth dealing with biases, bullies, and friends all while he is trying to figure out who he is. It is great to see how the kids negotiate the world and how the various personalities compare and contrast. A fantastic group of kids and a peek into an interesting universe. Overall, it was very well written.
