Book 3 of the Ten Realms series. This one harkens back to the military roots of the series. We have lots of alchemy in this one as that is the point of the third realm. Don’t worry, there are lots of fights, crazy opponents, and vindictive nobles. As the story gets bigger we have several groups we jump between ramping up the action but pulling a lot of the focus away from our MCs. That said it deepens and enriches the story and gets us vested in the dungeon. I like that this one puts Rugrat in a similar position metaphorical as Erik was at the beginning of the novel. The solution feels earned and rewarding. Excited for book 4.
