This is a standalone LitRPG. Interesting premise that could easily be turned into a series. Jax is a good mixed bag as far a reformed thief to hero. Decisions are solid and believable. Very much living vs the undead/supernatural. I like that this starts with them hanging Jax for his crimes. I also like the buildup of the lodge. Adult situations and language so reader be aware.
