This is the second book of the series and there is plenty of battles, dungeon delving, and negotiations to go around. But not to worry because a certain person is also sending assassins against Artemis. Not to worry he is still advancing and getting stronger, not to mention his work at getting more runes. Overall a fun read. Warning: strong language and adult situations (albeit less than the last book)
