I have not read this book since I was a child but it is still as heart-touching as it ever was. This book is a classic for a very good reason EB White has a wonderful way of bringing the farmyard alive. Each character leaps off the page. Highly recommend a read for any youngsters. It is amazing to find the wonder in an ordinary farmyard.
