Annihilation

This is an odd book. Even now I am left saying. What exactly just happened. I would have liked to see a little more detail on what was going on. It is as if we danced around what was really going after only to dance away. I felt like this novel spent more time telling you the story and not enough show what was going on. I am hoping that the next book will fill in the blanks, because as it stands, I would call this the diary of a madwoman. Mostly a very abstract book that might over time make me like it more. Not there now.
