James Patterson thrillers are my guilty pleasure. You could have easily slid Alex Cross into this novel added a piano and it would have read the same. The only point I was really disappointed with was the hint of looking weak where others would take out the main bad guy and the poorly developed family angle. Those parts really did not fit into the book. Personally I felt they were building up to be a whole protect the ex-wife situation that just fell flat. Other than that it was a fun read and I enjoyed it.
