This is a blog reviewing the latest book I have read along with the books I have self-published. Please feel free to follow along with my reading / writing journey.

Book 7 of the Tower series. Thorn continues his struggles in this one. This takes us into an area with the dragons and we get to know more about them and how they work. Finally we also get to do more with the tower. Not say that Thorn doesn’t take time out for forging as…

Book 5 of the Troy Stark series. This was a fun romp to Hong Kong. As you would expect, Troy facing God guys and bad guys all in order to save the world. Also, if you’ve read this far then you are sure to know that there will be plenty of gun shots to the…

Book 7 of the Incarnations of Immortality. This was the concluding book to the series. I know there is a book 8, but all research indicts that the author either was forced / coerced into writing it or did it to torpedo the series, either way it is not currently on my reading list. I…

Book 6 of Incarnations of Immortality. This one follows the story from the individual that is to become the personification of Evil. That of the role of Satan. This is the not too unlike plotting into the descent of a holy man into evil. Not too unlike the Screwtape Letters. Overall an interesting take on…

Book 5 of the Incarnations of Immortality series. This time we follow Gaia. Again each of these are the same timeframe but different perspective. This was an interesting one with a good twist in the end, really setting up the next book in the series. Overall, a strong addition to the series and a fun…

Book 4 of the Incarnations of Immortality series. This one we follow Mars (war) and out of the books so far, this one has the most involvement of Satan as we travel through Hell. Overall, a fun look at the various beliefs and religions. Also, a fun line drawn to the Book of Five Rings.…

Book 8 of The Good Guys series. A lot of action, pain, and killing meets the F word. So, there is some course language but it isn’t quite that prolific. Overall a fun addition to the series considering the end of the last book. A little peek behind the curtain deepens our perspective about the…

Book 3 was of Incarnations of Immortality. This fun book follows fate. An interesting look at how fate weaves its way through our lives. This book is really interesting as it covers a long period of time and there is always a lot of action going on. I loved the references to some famous puzzles.…

Book 130 of the Boxcar Children series. This is a book most people should read. The attitude of the thief that no one else matters just their own interests. I do like these that have split bad guys and split motivations, it adds a lot of depth to the mystery. Overall a great lesson just…

Book 131 of the Boxcar Children series. This one takes us to the New Jersey shore and the boardwalk. We get a picturesque view of this part of the world in the midst of strange happenings. The Alden children are ready to work hard as they figure out what is going on. A great book…
