This is a blog reviewing the latest book I have read along with the books I have self-published. Please feel free to follow along with my reading / writing journey.

Charles is in hot water yet again and the guy who avoids fighting most raise an army and what about live. This book takes our champion to places he never thought he would be. Interesting changes and interesting bargains. After all, if you’re trying to create a perfect civilization what would you choose to do…

Book 8 of the Goosebumps series. This was a fun play on the old Boy Who Cried Wolf story. The twist was pretty standard if you’ve read others and not super surprising. I liked the book for a fun twist on the classic but it was a little restricted while trying to stay true to…

Dragons! This one takes the war to the Tradesmen. Charles is in the center of it again. More trades, more deals, and actually a little bit of fighting. Overall it is a continuation and we get to see more deals and more trading. The series is still entertaining and moving in different directions. If you’ve…

Book 16 of the Goosebumps series. This one was interesting as the adults were a part of the scare, which is a little out of the ordinary. Obviously they are secondary characters. This is an odd funny one that will make you think twice at stopping at just any amusement park, especially ones that say…

This time we change tactics and although this is still so about trade, I love the new direction. The series continues to be fun and entertaining as Charles negotiates his way to ruling the world. I am glad I picked up this series and look forward to book 4.

We continue with the businessman approach to ruling the world. This continues in the same vane with Charles brokering new trade agreements prepares his city for war and winter and negotiates with a madman and in the middle of it all the thieves come calling. This is thrilling and high paced without any bloodshed. I…

Book 14 of Goosebumps. This is a chance to explore the swamp with bogs, friends, and a crazy hermit. And as you would guess scary things start happening right when a large dog shows up. Is that howling a werewolf? A fun little scare and a little twist on a classic. Overall a fun little…

Book 34 of the Alex Cross series. This one is more of a prequel of sorts. We follow the early career of Gary Soneji. It is everything you expect from the rookie Alex Cross and John Sampson. If you enjoyed the arc with this villain, introduced in Along Came a Spider then you’ll love his…

Book 49 of the Goosebumps series. As you guessed it this one is very much a vampire book. The twist in the end was a little expected but hit fine. The overall story is just about the kids wanting to get back home. Loyalty from an enemy and betrayal from a friend which makes this…

Book 34 of the Goosebumps series. What do you do when crazy things begin to happen and you’re the only one who knows? Well of course you become the number one suspect. Not to worry though, with help from your sister and friend you might just survive. Enjoy this fun little tale about mischievous lawn…
