Guild Master
Book 1 of Tower of Power. This is a fun action packed adventure/LitRPG. Same complaint as any others that this is not great for younger readers due to language. Which is sad because at the same time it is fairly discrete with other situations. If you do not mind a few expletives then this is…

Spymaster
Book 1 of the Dragon Corsiars. This is fantastic epic fantasy as you follow Kate. She has the least amount of luck that you would ever see. Dispute this she is a fantastic protagonist. If you love fantasy then you will enjoy this one.

Wings
Book 3 of the Nomes series. It is sad to see this one end. Super fun series that could easily have gone on for many many more books. If you’ve read the first two then buckle up because this conclusion dashes you right to the end. Positive recommendation for this whole series.

Diggers
Book 2 of Nomes. True to fashion we continue the laughs and antics as the Nomes continue their adventure outside of the store. I am truly interested to see how the last book in the series concludes such a fun and interesting storyline. Pick this up and I guarantee you’ll not be disappointed.

The Mystery of the Star Ruby
Book 89 of the Boxcar Children series. This book has the secret sauce. So entertaining it even made me want to go pan for gems. Lots of suspects and plenty of twists. Ends in a perfect wrap up. Highly recommend for young readers.

Truckers
This is book 1 of The First Book of Nomes series. As with any Terry Pratchett book this will have you giggling the whole time. He pulls you right into the story and soon you are enveloped in this world within the world. What great thoughts and perspectives as you look at our ordinary world…

The One and Only Ruby
This follows the third of the group from The One and Only Ivan. It is playful and fun as we follow Ruby as she nears her Tusk day. This would be most entertaining to young kids and I would put this more in the middle grade category. Still it is a short fast read and…

Dragons of Deceit
This is a Dragonlance novel. This is the first Dragonlance book I have read. I am pretty sure I would have liked this a lot more had I known more about the characters. That said it was interesting high fantasy and the story leads to the next book without any true conclusion. As I read…

Camp of No Return
Book 4 of MonsterStreet. Interestingly enough all three books have been standalone and only loosely tried to a neighborhood, which may or may not have been the same one. This one isn’t even that. So I think the series title is a bit off a misnomer. That stated, this was a decent horror read. I…

Carnevil
Book 3 of Monster Street. Super engaging story that leaves you happy in the end. This could be pretty spooky to younger audiences, but not much worse than any Goosebumps. I love the topic idea that time moves forward faster than we think. Super recommend.
