Book 34 of the Alex Cross series. This one is more of a prequel of sorts. We follow the early career of Gary Soneji. It is everything you expect from the rookie Alex Cross and John Sampson. If you enjoyed the arc with this villain, introduced in Along Came a Spider then you’ll love his sick and twisted mindset. What I enjoyed was that a lot of this book was from Gary’s point of view with Alex being in a more minor role.
