Book 1 of the Rise of the Empire series. If you liked Ender’s Game, you’ll love this one. There are a lot of similarities. It is a good introduction to a long series. I loved the government depictions of the way technology would be utilized. I liked the greed vs altruism that we see between Olympus and the various governments. Overall this is a strong YA safe read that would appeal to readers 14 and up. Because this is a setup book there is a lot of backstory creation and time jumps. I am excited to see where this one takes us.
