This is the fourteenth and final book in the Wuxia Progression series. Did this one feel rushed? Yes! With what happened in this one we could have seen another 2-3 books. Wad it all wrapped up? Also, yes. Overall the series was a good read, but not great. My feelings might reflect that because the Taoist progression is less familiar to me and so even with the familiar nodes, meridians, and cores the overall felt more Shogun, where, although great, I am not in the direct target audience. Juxtapose Way of the Shaman that brought me into reading this genre. If you love Asian culture this is a strong read, apart from that and the Thundar the Barbarian feel, it really was a fine series.
