This post apocalyptic novel set in the United States takes us on a gruesome ride from Los Angeles to Boston. The ride harkens to something Stephen King-ish in the terrible circumstances and pain endured. For a novel of this age, only a few phrases stick out albeit that it definitely has 1960s undertones. A short and good read for someone who enjoys dystopian futures. The violence is high but every thing it kept vague enough to not give you nightmares. A fun read.
