Book 1 of the Hardy Boys. The junior detectives are on a race against their dad to solve this case. I liked that this showed the difference between an adult vs child even though they do a lot of great things there are points where they needed help. That does not mean the responsibility was taken away but just that they got the help to move forward that they needed. Overall a strong read for your teenage reluctant readers.
