Book 3 of A Student wants to Live. This one takes us to Africa and into slavery. The book could be broken down into 3 parts. The setup, castaway, and welcome to the Roman colosseum. The concept of going from top to bottom and starting again to some extent is explored. This was an interesting way to deal with the idea of being between two enormous events without putting them together and risking feeling redundant.
