This is a retelling of The Iliad. It has been a number of years since I have read it and even then it was a struggle. This book does a good job mimicking the style and tone. The characters are brought to life as this story is interwoven with that. Overall a strong story, albeit I did struggle to get through it, I really did enjoy it and it was interesting to revisit the story Homer penned so long ago.
