Book 1 of the Misewa Saga. This fun YA book is reminiscent of a world similar to Narnia. That said, the focus of this book is teaching about the indigenous culture up to a stereo-typical view of the white man’s inability to work with nature. The greed of the white man aside, it ready is a good read and introduces us to a lot of the indigenous ways and thoughts. It is a read I would recommend.
