Book 1 of The Legends of the First Empire. This epic fantasy book is bursting with lore and interest. Anything from false accusations to court politics to infidelity to a mix of naive beliefs to real magic. A couple of rocks to the head top this one off. It is a good opening novel and introduces us to the main players, from here it will be interesting to see how it goes. It seems war is on the horizon. Ever gone to war with the gods?
