Dragon Blood

This is book 2 of Hurog. This novel continues our storyline and completes this series while leaving an opportunity for future novels. That said it is a fun fantasy read focused in on the characters leaving both world building and in-depth discourses on the uses of magic to a minimum. The twist is subtle at the end and nearly completes the novel. What I loved is when defeating one of the bad guys our hero looks down and realizes that this great evil was only a man. The theme of good vs evil power vs mercy run throughout the book and series. I do like the message of overcoming abuse and not letting it take you but that those pains and emotional scars don’t just go away. It was a good read.
