Bridge to Bat City

This was an interesting little novel speaking to dealing with loss and change. Although really strange, the endearing characters and reminiscing of a music era gone by would appeal to an older audience while the novel is definitely set in YA. At 50,I feel I was a bit young and barely hanging on to the references of the various artists. The read was pleasant enough written from the young perspective, which I felt was perfect for the age of the protagonist wherein the loss of the bat’s home was more tragic than the loss of hers. Overall, this is a hard recommend as I am not sure which age would really enjoy it. Maybe strange audiophiles that like to read YA. Yes, I did enjoy it.
