Long Way Down

This classic takes us in verse through one pivotal moment in a child’s life. One I wish would duplicate in a happy ending more often. I love that it talks about the circle of violence going on so long that no one remembers the initial infraction. Deeper as we look, how often do the “rules” we enforce on ourselves leads us to our own destruction. Especially when we feel slighted and simple forgiveness would prevent our own demise. Take the time and read this one.
