This is a literal coming of age story. There is a lot of charm along with lessons that come during that awkward stage between child and adult. Albeit a tad technologically dated, I don’t think that this is much different than what children/young adults still go through today. There were a lot of good points to raising children that leaves a parent wondering how you can help them navigate through. Overall a must read for all ages.
