Book 1 of the spinoff trilogy based on the popular Artemis Fowl series. This has a new cast of characters and new villains, but overall it is the same action packed story and any of the previous. I am hoping to grow to love these characters, but overall it just has the feel of a spinoff follow very similar pathways to the previous series albeit a slightly different motivation.
