Book 4 of the Artemis Fowl series. This was the standard world is endangered by a megalomaniac. The differing factor from the previous book is that we lose a dear character. It would have been cool if the author would have explored those emotions a touch more as it had a little less of an impact than I feel it should have. That said, I am an Eoin Colfer fanboy and really am enjoying this series and highly recommend it.
