Endling book 1. This was a great read from an accomplished storyteller. She did a great job of keeping the pacing going. I am excited to see deeper into her magic system. We only just touched the edges. The concept is super fun add it deals with the dark topic of genocide. I was amazed at how she dealt with it without making it too heavy, think beginning of Bambi. Recommended to read for YA and excited to pick up book 2.
