Why We Sleep


This nonfiction book discusses the scientific evidence behind maladies created by a lack of sleep and correlations to modern ideas about or more against adequate sleep. I liked the chemical analysis on what happens during sleep and even the author admits that not every correlation can be absolutely scientifically proven. Yet with the anecdotal evidence we can reasonably state that there is a significant reason for us to get more sleep. I recommend this book and it poses some very interesting introspection into something so basic.
